Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By logging into your Charity Connector account, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use the platform. Invited users who do not accept these terms within 30 days will have their accounts automatically deleted.

2. User Accounts

• Accounts are created by administrators only. There is no public registration.
• You must maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials.
• You must use a strong password as described in our password policy.
• Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) is mandatory for all accounts.
• Sessions automatically expire after 30 minutes of inactivity.

3. Use of the Platform

You agree to use the platform only for lawful purposes and in accordance with your charity’s authorisation. You must not:

• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the system or another user’s data.
• Interfere with the normal operation of the platform.
• Share login credentials with others.

4. API Credentials and Connectors

You are responsible for ensuring that any API credentials you manage remain valid, active, and authorised for connection to their respective services. We are not liable for issues arising from expired or invalid credentials.

5. Audit and Logging

All significant user actions are logged for compliance and security auditing. This data is used solely to maintain accountability and is not shared externally.

6. Termination

• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate user accounts in cases of security breaches, policy violations, or inactivity.
• Users may delete their accounts at any time (password confirmation required).

7. Security and Compliance

• Data encryption at rest and in transit.
• Mandatory 2FA and password expiry every 90 days.
• Regular software updates and vulnerability monitoring.
• Strict Content Security Policy (CSP) enforcement.

8. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

While we take extensive measures to protect your data and maintain uptime, the platform is provided on an “as is” basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service or that data transmission will always be secure. Our liability is limited to the extent permitted by law.

9. Changes to the Terms

We may update these Terms of Service periodically. Users will be notified upon their next login and must accept the updated version before continuing to use the service. The “Last updated” date will always reflect the latest version.
